My my My my

Thank you for your interest in the Fairfield Lacrosse Club.  In past years, Fairfield Lacrosse has proven to be a competitive force in the Cincinnati area.  Focused on player development with an ‘everybody plays’ attitude, we look forward to the continued growth and success of the club.

Fairfield Lacrosse Club is a not-for-profit organization designed to implant firmly in the youth of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, and courage, so that they may be stronger and happier, and will grow to be good, clean, healthy citizens in the community of Fairfield, Ohio.  We strive to achieve this objective by providing supervised competitive lacrosse, while keeping in mind that the attainment of exceptional skill for the winning of the game is secondary, and the molding of future citizens is of primary importance.

Fairifeld Lacrosse Club offers opportunities for boys grades K-8 and girls grades K-12.  (Boys' High School teams for Fairfield players will be under OHSAA sanctioning and administered by the Fairfield City School District as a school sport beginning with the 2017 Spring Season.  At this time, the Fairfield High School Girls' team will be an OHSAA "club" team administered by the Fairfield Lacrosse Club rather than the Fairfield City School District).  Team availability is based upon registrations received.  Due to team size requirements, we are not always able to field teams at all levels.  If you are interested in participating, please sign-up early in the registration process so that we can determine our needs.  If we are unable to field a team at the level you need, we will be happy to assist you in finding a local program willing to accept Fairfield players.

While we offer instructional clinics at various times throughout the year, our main focus is on the spring season.  Practices start in mid-February.  Games start in March and run through May.  We practice in rain and snow, and when the temperature is above 35º F.

Lacrosse is not a complicated game but for those of that are new to the game, the rules seem complex. The rules for the boys' and girls' games are different.  We work hard to teach players the rules as they come up, but it would help if you and your player read up on the rules as much as you can.  Links on this site to US Lacrosse will provide more information about rules for both the boys' and girls' games.

All players and parents must abide by our Code of Conduct.  Be aware: there is no tolerance for unsportsmanlike behavior from players, coaches, or parents.

Team success relies on volunteers.  Parents are encouraged to assist in any way they can.  No lacrosse experience is necessary, just a willingness to help.  Additionally, as a 501(3)(c) charitable organization, we also have the opportunity for fundraising, which not only helps the club purchase equipment but can also provide players an opportunity to reduce their fees.

Thank you once again for your interest in Fairfield Lacrosse Club.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our club or lacrosse in our area.
